Rehab treatment centres permit certain things and prohibit certain items; you should know the policy of your rehab treatment facility beforehand.
Some items are prohibited in the rehab centres. Majority of them has a prescribed essential list and exceptions to bring with you during your stay at the centre.
You will be admitted to the clinic as you get to the rehab where the entrance process will start. Your clinic's welcome staff will check your bags to guarantee safety and that nothing forbidden is sneaked through. All the details of what you came in with will be recorded in the patient property book.
Supplies are permitted in the therapy clinics. Different centres have different policies in place for extra stuff.
Have a look at the "What to Bring" section of your clinic's website you don't know what is allowed and prohibited or queries about packing. In case this page is missing, you must check the FAQ page which too can contain packing information. Some centres are known to offer packing checklists, which is printable that you can refer to while packing. Contact your clinic's admission office if you don't find the material you need. You will have all of your queries and doubts clarified. They can also provide you the information regarding the procedure for the admission along with providing you an explanation for their policies if you have any concerns.

It is common for rehabs to have strict dress policy in place and that's why you should check with the centre first. You can prepare yourself by carrying a cloth that can be comfortable in all types of weather.
Bear in mind that the space within your room could be limited, and therefore, you are advised not to over pack.

Certain items are not allowed inside the premises of rehab centres. This is because they might compromise the recovery process of the patient or even put their lives at risk. The names of items in the prohibited items list vary from facility to facility; however nearly every centre prohibits these:

Most centres don't encourage consumption of too much caffeine and sugar, and that's why outside food and drinks are prohibited. You will get all the meals that you need on a daily basis. Inform your clinic before admission if you have special needs.
Some Items Are Allowed In Rehab While Others Are Not

The rehabs allow you to come with things that will make you feel as comfortable as possible just like you are at home.
However, all these items should be allowed first.
Can I Get Prohibited Items Back That I Accidentally Took
Don't freak out if you bring along something forbidden after you get to the clinic. The person who brought you to the centres will be requested to carry the prohibited item's back home by the rehab centres. Many others will hold the items for 24 hours until someone comes over to pick them up. Other centres will just keep them for your and return the same once you have cleared the program and leave the centre.
This is mainly in instances where the close relatives are far and cannot come immediately. You should check with the centre what items are allowed and what are not before packing. You will wish to have back your forbidden objects packed by error. If the centres do not store the items, you can ask them to ship them back for you.
Packing For Rehab If you have all the information from the rehab, this process becomes less hectic. Look for a packing checklist on the website of the rehab will make the process of packing even easier. Don't pack too many things; only carry things you need.
